Robert Harris is a barrister at One Essex Court, specializing in commercial disputes in both litigation and arbitration since October 2020. After completing pupillage under the supervision of Nick Sloboda, Sebastian Isaac, and Emma Jones, Robert gained experience working on high-value complex commercial disputes. Prior to this role, Robert tutored law students in Contract, Tort, and Trusts at Bloomsbury Law Tutors. Additional experiences include mini-pupillages at various prestigious Chambers and a position as Debating Scholar-in-Residence at EXPLO, where Robert coached debating at Yale University. Leadership experience includes serving as President of the Oxford Union, managing its operations and hosting notable speakers. Robert holds a BA (Hons) in Jurisprudence and a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford, as well as completing the Bar Professional Training Course at City, University of London.
