Horacio Moreno has an extensive background in business development and licensing within the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Horacio is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at MEDIBIOFARMA SL. Prior to this, they held various positions at IQS Barcelona, including Coordinator of the Master in Biopharmaceutical Business and Associate Teacher in the Biotechnology Degree program. Horacio also served as the Director of the Postgraduate Program in Biotech and Pharmaceutical Industry at IQS Barcelona. In addition, Horacio Moreno has held roles as the Marketing & Sales Director at BC Analytical Applications, Head of Business Development & Licensing at Avizorex Pharma, S.L., and Head of Business Development & Licensing for Spain & Latin America at Grupo Menarini España. Horacio has also gained experience at Almirall, GreenValley, and Gebro Pharma in various business development and licensing roles. Throughout their career, Horacio Moreno has demonstrated expertise in driving growth and strategic partnerships in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.

Horacio Moreno's education history begins in 1996 when they attended Heidelberg University. Horacio completed a post-graduate program in Molecular and Cell Biology, which lasted from 1996 to 1997. Following that, from 1998 to 2002, they pursued a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Universitat de Barcelona. Concurrently, they also pursued an MBA degree at the same university, which they completed from 2000 to 2002.
