Klara Acs is a seasoned professional in the fields of oncology and translational science, currently serving as the Translational Science Director at Oncopeptides AB since October 2020, where responsibilities include leading translational studies in clinical trials and managing exploratory biomarker studies. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager for preclinical oncology research and Team Leader at Sprint Bioscience, as well as Associate Principal Scientist in the Biology-Oncology Team at Medivir AB. Klara's academic background includes a postdoctoral research position at Dartmouth Medical School and a Young Investigator role at Karolinska Institutet, with a strong focus on drug discovery and the ubiquitin proteasome system in DNA repair. Klara holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Szeged and has an extensive publication record in high-impact research.
