Sabine Schneider currently serves as the Department Manager of Quality Control at OMV, overseeing operations at the Burghausen Refinery and associated tank farms since March 2023. With extensive experience in the chemical and biotechnological sectors, Sabine held several key roles at Novartis from May 2014 to February 2023, including Process Support Unit Head for a biotechnological cell culture production plant and Process Manager for a chemical synthesis plant. Prior to Novartis, Sabine was the Plant Manager at Alzchem Group AG, leading a multipurpose synthesis plant, and gained valuable experience as Laboratory Head at Evonik, focusing on research and development in gas-phase reactions. Sabine holds a Dissertation in Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich, complemented by a research stay at Stellenbosch University and a Diplom-Chemiker degree from the same institution.
