Ingrid Spijkers serves as the Hoofdredacteur at Omrop Fryslân since December 2019, leading a team of approximately one hundred professionals in delivering news and background information across various media platforms. Previously, Ingrid held the position of Communication Manager for LWD Smaakstad 2015 from January 2015 to December 2019, overseeing project management and communication initiatives. As a Senior Communication Advisor at Wij van PS from January 2013 to December 2019, Ingrid designed communication strategies for multiple clients while managing their execution. Ingrid also contributed as a Communicatie manager for Stichting Bildtse Aardappelweken in 2018, producing events related to LF 2018. With extensive experience beginning at PS Produkties from February 1994 to January 2013, Ingrid has a solid background in cross-media communication and strategic advising. Ingrid earned a master's degree in journalism from Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 1988 to 1992.
