Christie Booth Smith has extensive experience in physical therapy, currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at Oakland University since September 2013, where assistance is provided in manual-based courses for Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (OMPT) students. Christie has also been a Physical Therapist at OMPT Specialists, Inc. since July 2013 and previously worked at Beaumont Health from August 2010 to July 2020 in various roles, including Physical Therapist and Rehabilitation Technician. Additional experience includes serving as a Physical Therapist at Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy and as a Rehabilitation Technician at Orthopedic Spine and Sport Therapy. Christie holds a Graduate Certificate in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Oakland University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Western Michigan University.
