Rushva Parihar

Head, Improving Lives Foundation at OmniActive

Rushva Parihar's work experience begins in 2012 with the Godrej Group, where they served as a Culture Catalyst. Rushva'sresponsibilities included coordinating events that promoted cross-pollination of ideas and fostering cultural exchange.

In 2015, Rushva joined UNU-MERIT as a Research Associate. Rushva contributed to the development of policy recommendations for the EU and built partnerships with government bodies in India to address sanitation and health issues.

From 2017, Rushva worked at OmniActive Health Technologies as the Head of the Improving Lives Foundation. In this role, they conceptualized and supervised the execution of CSR programs across multiple locations in India, impacting over 150,000 beneficiaries. Rushva also managed stakeholder relationships, including implementing partners, local government bodies, customers, and the local community.

In 2018, Rushva moved to And Sustainability as a Lead Consultant. Rushva'sresponsibilities included delivering sustainability projects for various industries and contributing to climate action policies at local, national, and international levels.

Rushva Parihar completed their education chronologically as follows:

Rushva started their education at The Valley School KFI from 2006 to 2008, earning an ISC degree in Humanities. Rushva then attended JAI HIND COLLEGE, MUMBAI and obtained a Bachelor of Mass Media degree in Journalism from 2009 to 2012. Rushva furthered their studies at Brunel University London, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration, Management and Operations between 2014 and 2015. The most recent educational institution they attended was the University of Pennsylvania, from 2019 to 2020, where they completed an Executive Program in Social Design and Innovation.

In addition to their formal education, Rushva has obtained various certifications. In 2018, they completed the "Strategy and Sustainability" certification from IESE Business School. The following year, they acquired the "Corporate Sustainability. Understanding and Seizing the Strategic Opportunity" certification from Università Bocconi. In 2019, Rushva obtained a certification in "Global Energy and Climate Policy" from SOAS University of London. Finally, in 2020, they became a "Climate Reality Leader" through The Climate Reality Project.
