Romulo Vianna's work experience includes the following:

1. Currently working at Omixon since 2021 as a Tech Support for Americas. In this role, they are responsible for providing technical support to customers in North, Central, and South American markets. Romulo has a deep understanding of software and assays and acts as a network node among various teams, ensuring integrated communication and a better user experience. Romulo also handles multilingual and multinational interactions with customers, distributors, collaborators, and colleagues.

2. Previously worked at HLA-UERJ from 2015 to 2021. Romulo held the position of Scientific Consultant for NGS and HLA. Additionally, they served as the Head of HLA typing by NGS. In this role, they trained and performed HLA library preparations using various commercial kits and managed library sequencing through Illumina-based platforms for NGS. Romulo also utilized their bioinformatics skills for analyzing FASTQ files and troubleshooting complex runs and samples.

Romulo Vianna completed their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, General at UERJ from 2008 to 2013. Romulo then pursued further studies at UC San Diego, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General in the year 2013. Following this, they returned to UERJ and completed their Master's Degree in Human/Medical Genetics from 2014 to 2016. Finally, Romulo Vianna continued their academic journey at UERJ and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Human/Medical Genetics from 2016 to 2020.
