Denise van Leeuwen currently serves as Organisatiejurist and Privacy Officer at Omgevingsdienst Rivierenland since April 2022. Prior to this role, Denise held the position of Juridisch adviseur at gemeente Doesburg from January 2018 to April 2022 and at Gemeente Duiven from July 2016 to January 2018. Denise van Leeuwen holds a Bachelor in de Rechten from Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, obtained between 2014 and 2016, and a degree from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen, completed between 2008 and 2013. Earlier education includes obtaining a Havo degree at Dorenweerd College from 2006 to 2008 and completing education at the same institution from 2002 to 2006.
