Karine Viens is a microbiologist with extensive experience in quality control and laboratory management. Currently serving as a Spécialiste Microbiologie at Omega Laboratories Limited since October 2018, Karine specializes in microbiological analysis, quality assurance, and environmental controls. Previous roles include microbiologist and quality assurance specialist in multiple industries from October 2016 to October 2018, and a series of positions at Sandoz Canada Inc. from April 2002 to September 2016, ranging from technician to supervisor, where responsibilities included incident reporting and environmental control supervision. Karine holds a Micro certificat in Sécurité alimentaire from Université Laval and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology from Université de Sherbrooke, as well as a diploma in Health Science from CEGEP- St-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
