Chaeyeon Ku is a proficient Data Engineer with experience at Olympic Industries ULC, where an 80% reduction in internal dashboard web application launch time was achieved alongside an API response time averaging below 1 second. This was accomplished through the implementation of web sockets, caching, React, and backend refactoring using Flask. Previous experience includes a Software Developer Co-op at SFU Functional & Anatomical Imaging & Shape Analysis Lab, where Chaeyeon organized medical image datasets and developed data processing scripts. Additional technical support was provided as an Academic Continuity Rover at The University of British Columbia, successfully resolving over 100 technical issues. Chaeyeon holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a combined major in Computer Science and Business from UBC Sauder School of Business and completed an IB Diploma Programme at Branksome Hall.
