Thomas Castelein is a highly skilled cardiologist and intensive care specialist currently practicing at OLV Ziekenhuis Aalst-Asse-Ninove since February 2021. With a robust training background, Thomas completed an Intensive Care Fellowship at Imeldaziekenhuis Bonheiden in late 2020 and another at Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc from October 2019 to October 2020. Before these fellowships, Thomas progressed through comprehensive cardiology and internal medicine residency programs at various esteemed institutions, including UZ Leuven and AZ Sint-Jan Brugge-Oostende AV. Thomas holds a Master na Master degree in Cardiology and a Doctor of Medicine degree from KU Leuven, demonstrating a strong educational foundation in the medical field.
