Derik Hammer is a seasoned professional in product and data management with extensive experience across multiple roles in technology and real estate. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at Olo since September 2020, Derik focuses on enhancing the connectivity between restaurants and their guests through innovative solutions. Prior to this, Derik held several positions at Olo, including Senior Technical Product Manager and Senior Engineering Manager for Data Infrastructure, where responsibilities included maintaining enterprise-scale reliability and leading data modernization efforts. With a background as a Senior Data Manager at Subway and a progression through various roles in database administration and data management, Derik has consistently demonstrated expertise in data architecture, analytics strategy, and team leadership. Additional entrepreneurial endeavors include ownership and property management at Hammer Real Estate Investments, along with a notable tenure in the US Navy as a Fire Control Technician. Derik holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems with a focus on Database Management from DeVry University.
