Mir Omar is a Backend Software Engineer at Ollie, responsible for building robust API endpoints, writing tests, and designing event-driven pipelines to optimize marketing efforts. Previously, at NYCityAlerts®, Mir served as a Lead Software Engineer, analyzing user data and developing UX concepts. Before that, at Walter T. Gorman, P.E., P.C., Mir managed relationships with property management firms and led a redesign of NYCityAlerts. As a Software Engineering Intern at the same company, Mir created web applications and optimized traffic. Mir has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology.
