Ryan McCasky has a diverse work experience. Ryan started as a Deputy Sheriff at Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in July 2013 and worked until May 2015. In 2020, they joined the Drug Enforcement Administration as a DEA Task Force Officer and served until April 2022. Ryan then worked as a Police Detective at the City of Arvada until April 2022. In 2022, Ryan became a Project Lead at Oldcastle Infrastructure, and in 2023, they became a Project Manager at Arapahoe Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc.

Ryan McCasky attended the University of Northern Colorado from 2009 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography.
