Kari Mette Nyhaug is the Head of ICT Applications at Olav Thon Gruppen since January 2015, responsible for the operational and developmental management of the Thon Hotels Property Management System, including implementation, testing, and coordination across departments. Previously, Kari served as the Opera Operation and Development Specialist and Team Lead Project- and Supportteam at Thon Hotels, where responsibilities included system testing, staff training, and overseeing the rollout of hotel systems across multiple locations. Earlier career roles include Revenue Manager positions at Hotel Bristol and The Hotel Highland, and Front Office Manager at Scandic Hotels, focusing on revenue management, pricing strategies, and operational oversight. Kari holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from the University of Stavanger.
