Vanathy Paramanandam has a diverse work experience in the technology and data analysis field. Vanathy currently holds the position of Lead Engineer at Olam Information Services Private Limited since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Data Analyst at Capital O from May 2018 to January 2019. Vanathy also served as a Tableau Administrator/Developer at Kemper from May 2017 to June 2018, and as a Senior Tableau Developer at Johnson & Johnson from June 2016 to May 2017. Before that, they worked at Home Depot as a Tableau Developer/Analyst from August 2015 to June 2016, and at Hanger, Inc. as a Data Analyst from March 2014 to July 2015. Their early career included a role as an Associate System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from July 2008 to July 2010.

Vanathy Paramanandam holds a Master's degree from the University of Central Florida, which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Industrial BioTechnology from the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, between 2004 and 2008. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including SQL from TestDome in 2020, and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, all from Amazon Web Services in 2017. Vanathy also holds a Tableau Desktop Associate certification from Tableau Software.
