Rajib Biswas is a Chief Researcher at Okumura Corporation since October 2021, previously serving as a PhD Candidate at Tokyo Institute of Technology from October 2018 to September 2021, where research focused on non-uniform corrosion effects on the structural performance of reinforced concrete (RC) structures and the development of a numerical model for assessing corroded RC structures. Additionally, Rajib held a position as a Visiting Researcher at Imperial College London in mid-2019 and was a Lecturer at Uttara University from August 2014 to September 2016. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology (2016-2018), an M.Sc. from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (2014), and a B.Sc. in Structural Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (2009-2013).
