Chandra Shirashyad is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product development, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Okta since December 2014. In this role, Chandra oversees the creation and delivery of Okta's flagship FastPass and Device Assurance products, focusing on secure, frictionless authentication solutions. Prior experience includes significant roles at Okta as Senior Manager and Engineering Manager, leading mobile teams and delivering high-visibility products. Chandra's professional journey began as a Consultant at Fortuna Technologies, progressing through various technical roles including founding California eSolutions Inc. and serving as Technical Lead at the Electric Power Research Institute. Chandra holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Basaveshwar Engineering College and recently completed the Stanford LEAD program in Organizational Leadership at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
