Kellen McCarroll is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in nuclear engineering and thermal-hydraulics. Currently serving as an Engineer at Oklo Inc since May 2022, Kellen previously held the position of Lead Engineer at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory from December 2016 to August 2023, focusing on reactor performance for NIMITZ Class reactors. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University. Kellen's early career includes roles as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan and as a Division Director and Instructor at the U.S. Navy's Naval Nuclear Power Training Command, where responsibilities included curriculum management, evaluation of instructor performance, and assessment of student qualifications.
