Magnolia McLaughlin

Graduate Research Assistant at Oklahoma State University

Magnolia McLaughlin is currently a Geology Student Trainee at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, starting in May 2023, while also serving as a Teaching Assistant at Georgia State University since January 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Program Assistant for the Keep Cobb Beautiful initiative from June 2022 to August 2023, where Magnolia organized the 2023 Litter Index and trained interns in ArcGIS and other mapping tools. Previous roles include a Sustainability, Waste, and Beautification Intern at Cobb County and various positions in the service industry, including a Bar Associate at Fainting Goat Vineyards & Winery and a Waitress at IHOP. Magnolia McLaughlin holds a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences, anticipated in May 2024, and earned a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Georgia State University in December 2022.
