Lauren Barnes is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in both nonprofit and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as the Communications Coordinator at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation since May 2017, Lauren previously held the position of Director of Development & Communications at Citizens Caring for Children from April 2015 to July 2016. Earlier roles include Convention Services Manager at Sheraton Oklahoma City Hotel from July 2010 to April 2015 and Event Coordinator at Mabee Center - Oral Roberts University from January 2009 to July 2010. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Oklahoma State University, earned in 2008.
