Alex Martin is a skilled educator and program specialist with a focus on K-12 curriculum development and place-based education. Currently serving as the School Programs and Curriculum Specialist at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, Alex is responsible for creating a K-12 curriculum aligned with Indian Education for All standards and supporting Native Education initiatives. Prior experience includes a graduate assistant role at the University of Wyoming, where Alex developed place-based science lesson extensions, and positions at Teton Science Schools, Northwest Anthropology LLC, and the Journal of Northwest Anthropology, emphasizing project management, research, and educational program facilitation. Alex holds a Master of Science in Natural Science Education and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Washington.
