Dag Eggan has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Special Projects at OKEA ASA since August 2015, Dag has held multiple senior leadership roles including Senior Vice President of Business Performance and Senior Vice President of HSE. Prior to OKEA ASA, Dag worked at Statoil from February 2013 to August 2015 as Quality Risk Manager and HSE Leader for the MODU Newbuild Group. Dag's previous positions include Vice President of QHSE at Ocean Rig, QHSE Director at PIER Offshore Management Services AS and Skeie Drilling & Production, and VP QHSE Drilling at Sevan Drilling. Dag began the career at Ocean Rig, where responsibilities evolved from HES&Q Engineer to Senior Vice President of QHSE over several years. Dag holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
