W. Wade Robey

W. Wade Robey, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in different companies. Currently, they are the President of Amlan International since December 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Agriculture at Oil-Dri Corporation of America starting from May 2022. Additionally, Dr. Robey also owned and operated Morgan Ashley Studio Salon as a business owner from July 2019.

In their previous positions, they held the role of Vice President of Marketing and Product Development at Amlan International from February 2021 to May 2022. W. Wade also served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Face It TOGETHER from July 2020 to March 2022.

Dr. Robey's experience also includes working with Jobey & Associates, LLC as the Managing Partner from August 2016 to January 2021. Before that, they held multiple roles at Raven Industries, including Executive Director Autonomy, General Manager, and Board Member from November 2019 to December 2020. W. Wade also served as the Head of Product Management and Strategic Business Development, as well as Director of Engineering from August 2016 to December 2019.

Prior to that, Dr. Robey held significant positions at POET and Novozymes. W. Wade was a Board Member for POET | DSM Advanced Biofuels from January 2013 to May 2016. W. Wade also served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at POET from June 2011 to May 2016. Additionally, they worked as the Head of Marketing, Americas at Novozymes from September 2010 to June 2011.

At Syngenta, Dr. Robey held various roles including Global Business Director, Animal Nutrition; Director, Strategic Partnerships; and AVP and Global Director, Application Development. W. Wade also served as a Board Member for NC State Feed Milling and Syngenta Animal Nutrition during their tenure at the company from January 2007 to July 2009.

W. Wade Robey, Ph.D. has an extensive education history. In 1981, they graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Science from Auburn University. W. Wade then pursued their Master of Science degree in Avian Physiology at Auburn University from 1983 to 1984. After completing their master's degree, Robey joined Virginia Tech, where they earned their Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition from 1984 to 1988. Following their Ph.D., they continued their research at Virginia Tech as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Nutritional Biochemistry in the year 1988.
