Veronica Sánchez began their work experience in 2005 at the Organization American State (OAS), where they served as an Assistant to the OAS Chairman in Uruguay until April 2006. Veronica then worked as a Legal Assistant at KUGELMASS KOVNER – Consultants and Auditors from August 2006 to April 2008. In May 2008, Veronica joined Oikocredit as a Senior Legal Counsel, a position they currently hold.
Veronica Sánchez has a diverse education history in the legal field. In 2000, they attended the Faculty of Law in Uruguay, specifically the "Universidad de la Republica Oriental del Uruguay," where they obtained their degree in Law. Veronica then pursued further education and completed a Master's degree in Business Law from the University of Montevideo between 2010 and 2012. In 2009, they briefly attended The Hague Academy of International Law to study International Private Law. In 2011, they returned to The Hague Academy of International Law for a short period to focus on International Law and Legal Studies. Additionally, in 2017, they attended ISEDE, Universidad Católica del Uruguay, to become a Compliance Officer in the legal field.
