Karina Katz has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Karina commenced their professional journey by working as a Transfer Pricing - Senior at Deloitte from August 2004 to July 2007. Following this, they joined Standard Bank as a Credit Analyst in July 2007 and continued until March 2010. Karina then transitioned to Oikocredit, where they held the position of Senior Investment Officer from March 2010 onwards. At Oikocredit, Karina played a crucial role in facilitating private funding to the microfinance sector and provided credit to various organizations in the developing world. Throughout their career, Karina has demonstrated a commitment to socially responsible investments and empowering disadvantaged individuals through credit.

Karina Katz started their education in the year 2000 at the Universidad de 'San Andrés' where they pursued a degree in Economics and successfully completed it in 2004. In 2003, they participated in an exchange program at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, focusing on Economics.

Karina went on to further their education in 2008 by enrolling in the Master's Degree in International Relations program at FLACSO - Udesa. Karina completed their master's degree in the following year, 2009.

In 2015, Karina Katz pursued a Posgrado en Alta Dirección en Agronegocios y Alimentos at the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in the field of Agronegocios.

Most recently, in 2019, they returned to their alma mater, the Universidad de 'San Andrés' to pursue a program in Direccion de proyectos de energía renovable, focusing on renewable energy projects.
