Jonathan Chu is the founder and CEO of OhWaiter since January 2019. Jonathan is also a partner at Lanea Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge since January 2019. Prior to these roles, they served as the CEO of The Independence Restaurant starting in 2014.

Jonathan Chu attended San Francisco State University from 1984 to 1987. During this time, it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study. Following San Francisco State University, they enrolled at NYU Stern School of Business from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance and International Business.
