Peter Valachovic has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps, system engineering, and server administration. Peter is currently working as a DevOps Engineer at Ohpen since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Professional Freelancer at WASD s.r.o. starting from October 2018.

At ERNI, Peter held the role of a DevOps Engineer/System Engineer from December 2019 to October 2020. Before that, they worked at Soitron - HPe - DXC as a Project Specialist - System Engineer for nearly four years, from January 2016 to November 2019.

Peter also gained experience at AT&T as a Unix Server Administrator - L2 from May 2012 to December 2015. Earlier in their career, they served as a Server Automation / Opsware - L2 Support Analyst at Soitron - HP from May 2011 to April 2012.

Throughout their career, Peter has developed expertise in various areas, including administration of Linux, HPUX servers, and ESX clusters, migration of virtual and physical servers across datacenters, DNS and re-IP changes, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Peter has also worked with server automation and support for multiple platforms, such as Windows, HP-UX, Solaris, Red Hat, SuSe, and AIX.

Peter Valachovic's education history begins in 2000 when they attended the High School of Federica Garcia Lorcu. Peter studied Spanish Language and Literature at this institution until 2008.

Following their high school education, Peter then enrolled at the Slovak Technical University from 2008 to 2011. During this time, they pursued studies in Telecommunications Technology/Technician.

In addition to their formal education, Peter has obtained several certifications. In September 2020, they became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner through Amazon Web Services (AWS). Peter further expanded their expertise by achieving the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification in July 2021. Most recently, in May 2023, Peter obtained the prestigious AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
