Eric Burchard currently serves as the Director of Government Relations and the Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations at Ohio University, a position held since November 2008. Prior to this role, Eric worked at Capital Insight, LLC from November 2001 to November 2008, and was a Lobbyist for the Ohio Education Association from February 1997 to November 2001. Eric's earlier experience includes serving as a Legislative Liaison for the State Employment Relations Board from 1993 to 1997 and as a Legislative Aide in the Ohio Senate from 1992 to 1993. Eric gained educational qualifications at Ohio University from 1986 to 1991 and attended St. John's in Ashtabula.
