Scott Stockman has extensive experience in legal and policy roles, currently serving as Legal Counsel for the Ohio Senate since March 2015, where responsibilities have included previous positions as Deputy Legal Counsel/Policy Advisor and Senior Policy Advisor. Prior to this, Scott held the role of Senior Legislative Aide for Senator Tom Sawyer. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, obtained from 2010 to 2013, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed in 2009. Additionally, Scott served as a Research Assistant at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, supporting Professors Daniel Tokaji and Douglas Berman from June 2011 to May 2013.
