Russ Kennedy is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in public relations, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication management. Currently serving as the Deputy Director and Director of Stakeholder Relations at the Ohio Department of Health since 2014, Russ has successfully directed the agency's relationships with various stakeholder groups. Previously, Russ held roles at the Ohio Department of Aging, leading communications and government outreach efforts, and at Mount Carmel Health System in various capacities, ultimately as Vice President of Communications & Public Affairs. With earlier experience at CompuServe and a strong educational foundation in journalism from The Ohio State University and Ohio University, Russ has demonstrated a consistent ability to innovate and improve communication strategies across organizations.
