Tim Shafer has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Tim started their career as a Glazier High risk at Magor Glass United State in 1979 and worked there until 1990. Tim then joined the State of Ohio Dept. of Rehab & Corrections as a Corrections Officer, serving from 1990 to 2007. During this time, they gained extensive knowledge in dealing with issues concerning DRC/DYS employees throughout the state. In 2007, Tim transitioned to OCSEA, where they held the position of Operations Director. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks, including handling public policy, budgets, testifying, and public speaking. Tim also worked on political campaigns and traveled across the United States.
Tim Shafer attended Harding High School from 1975 to 1979, where they studied Psychology and History and received a degree in Grad History, Public Speaking, and MH/MR studies. From 1979 to 2013, they pursued further education at Life of Training, specializing in Organizational Leadership and Organizing. During this time, they obtained a degree in Corrections/Policy/Budgets/Gov. Affairs.
