Maddie McGuire has a diverse work experience. In 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara until 2020. Maddie then joined Dune Coffee Roasters as a Barista from August 2019 until April 2020. Currently, they are employed at Ohalo Genetics as a Research Associate. Maddie started in May 2021 and has since been promoted to Research Associate II in May 2022.

Maddie McGuire completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from UC Santa Barbara, where they attended from 2016 to 2020. In October 2022, they obtained the certification of Green Lab Ambassador from My Green Lab.
