Shawn Rine has been a dedicated Sports Writer for the Wheeling News-Register since November 1998, primarily focusing on the Wheeling Nailers, a Class AA (ECHL) hockey team, for the past eight years, and providing coverage for various sports across 50 high schools in the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference. Additionally, Shawn Rine has served as a NCAA Division II Beat Writer for Ogden Newspapers Inc since October 1998 and worked as a Copy Editor at the Burlington Times-News from June 2003 to June 2005.
