Joan Marín Fidalgo is an experienced professional in the fields of geotechnics and structural monitoring, currently serving as Jefe de auscultación at OFITECO since July 2021. Previously, Joan held the position of Jefe de proyectos at ECR Environnement España for a brief period in early 2021, and spent over thirteen years at Applus Norcontrol, where responsibilities included project management and technical assistance in significant construction projects, such as the L2 Metro of Lima and the L9 Metro of Barcelona. In addition to fieldwork, Joan has a background in academia, having served as an asociado professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Joan holds a Licenciado en Geología from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and has pursued further education in engineering and business administration, complemented by skills in Java and Python programming.
