Victor Cifuentes has a strong work history spanning several industries and positions. Victor is currently serving as the VP of Finance and Administration at Ofi, where they lead the company's financial strategy and manages key factors such as gross and operating margins, EBITDA, and working capital. Victor also oversees the areas of portfolio management, accounting, planning, and treasury. Prior to their current role, Victor worked as a Finance Manager at Invamer, where they handled various financial responsibilities such as treasury management, accountability, and maintaining relationships with banks. Before that, they served as a Financial Manager at Bayton Grupo Empresario, where they were responsible for treasury operations, account receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. Victor also had experience as an entrepreneur, owning and operating Nutrimarket Healthy Market, where they focused on improving customer experience and achieving substantial revenue growth. In addition, they served as a Finance Controller at Intergrupo, where they led financial processes such as treasury, accountability, and taxation, and provided insights to the CEO on the profitability of new business ventures. Additionally, Victor has held various financial roles throughout their career, including a Finance Controlling Coordinator at Groupe SEB Colombia, an Advisor at Resultados Gerenciales Ltda and Fredy Marin & Associates, a Revisor Fiscal at Hotel Sol Caribe San Andres, and an Assistant Auditor at PROMOTORA MEDICA LAS AMERICAS S.A. Victor Cifuentes has an educational background in accounting, finance, and language teaching. Victor started their education journey in 1990 at the Universidad de Antioquia, where they pursued a degree in Accounting and Finance, completing it in 1997. In 2005 and 2006, they attended the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, specializing in Corporate Finance and Capital Markets.

In 2014 and 2015, Victor enrolled at LaGuardia Community College to obtain a diploma in ESL (Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language). Victor further expanded their language skills in 2018 and 2019 by completing a program in English for Professionals at the Universidad de Antioquia.

Victor has also acquired specialized knowledge in various finance-related areas. In 2017, they attended UNIPYMES to learn about managing bank credit. Victor completed training in finance reporting with Groupe SEB in 2014 and earned a certificate in financial planning and management from ACEF in 2013. Victor attended a seminar on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in 2010 at MASO CONSULTORES. In 2002, Victor pursued a course on process control and auditing at EAFIT.

Looking ahead, Victor plans to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IMF Smart Education starting in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Victor has obtained additional certifications. In June 2023, they obtained a certification in "Review and Interpret Analyses" from Celonis. In May 2023, they acquired a certification in "Go-To-Market Fundamentals" from the same institution. Victor previously received a certification in "Ingles para profesionales" from the Universidad de Antioquia in July 2019. Victor also holds a diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (NIIF-NIC) from a program titled "Ciclo de planeaci贸n y gesti贸n financiera."
