Jamal Zayed is an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General since September 2021, bringing prior experience as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Minnesota Judicial Branch from November 2019 to August 2021 and as a Legal Intern with the Office of the Federal Defender in late 2019. Zayed gained valuable legal experience as a Law Clerk at McSweeney/Langevin from May 2017 to May 2019, and earlier roles included a Student Assistant position at Epic and a Student Employee role at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Zayed's foundational experience as a Barista at West Side Perk and as an Assistant at Warren Gale Law Office, P.A. complements an academic background that includes a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, completed between 2016 and 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned in 2014.
