Anya Pavlov-Shapiro is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General since December 2023. Prior to this role, Anya worked as an Operations Analyst II in the Child Support division at the State Court Administrator's Office from September 2016 to December 2023 and gained invaluable experience as a Law Clerk for the Minnesota Fourth Judicial District between March 2014 and September 2016. Anya's extensive background includes positions such as Document Review Attorney and Project Attorney at Robins Kaplan LLP, where responsibilities involved training contract attorneys and managing document review projects. Earlier roles include a Paralegal position at Thomson Reuters, various fellowships and coordinator roles at the University of Michigan Law School, and legal internships with the ACLU. Anya holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Women's Studies from the University of Rochester.
