Adam B. Pienciak is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in public defense and trial advocacy. Currently serving as a Senior Trial Attorney at the Colorado State Public Defender since May 2019, Adam has first-chaired multiple first-degree homicide cases and tried numerous felony jury trials. Prior roles include Assistant Deputy Public Defender in New Jersey, where Adam represented clients during detention hearings, and Assistant Public Defender in Nashville, where Adam handled both felony and misdemeanor cases. Adam's legal training includes significant roles as a student attorney at The George Washington University Law School and various internships that focused on criminal defense and mental health law. Adam holds a JD from The George Washington University Law School and a BA in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
