Adam Vanderheyden, CPA, CA, currently serves as Senior Manager at the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario since October 2022. Previously, Adam held the position of Manager at KPMG Canada from September 2021 to September 2022, focusing on governance, risk, and compliance advisory services for public sector clients. Adam's extensive experience at the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario includes roles as Manager, Audit Supervisor, and Senior Auditor from January 2016 to September 2021. Prior to that, Adam worked as a Senior Accountant at BDO Canada from January 2013 to January 2016, providing assurance, accounting, tax, financial analysis, and advisory services to major clients. Adam's earlier career also includes positions as Intermediate Accountant at The Corporation of Norfolk County and Budget Analyst at the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services. Adam holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Brock University and an Accounting Diploma from Wilfrid Laurier University.
