Joseph A. Smith has held various positions in the corporate world since 2007. Joseph A. began their career as an Account Executive at IKON Office Solutions in 2007. In 2008, they moved to Ricoh USA to serve as a Major Account Executive. In 2010, they were appointed Vice President of Sales at L3 Technologies. In 2015, they became a Business Account Manager at Verizon Wireless. Most recently, in 2017, they were appointed Chief Executive Officer at Office Communications.

Joseph A. Smith obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Saint Leo University between 1997 and 2001. Joseph A. then obtained a Certified Network Professional certification from Cradlepoint in June 2021, a Cradlepoint Certified Network Professional certification in June 2021, a Certified Sales Associate certification from Cradlepoint in June 2019, a Certified Network Associate certification from Cradlepoint in August 2018, and a Certified Telecommunications Professional (CTP) certification from The Technology Channel Association is the first non-profit trade association promoting the growth and success of telecommunication industry professionals.
