Walter Wu is a skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience in enhancing user engagement and communications on digital platforms. Since April 2020, Walter has been working at OfferUp, focusing on user experience improvements, designing notification and messaging systems, and optimizing service performance through cross-team collaboration. Prior to this role, Walter contributed to Zume Inc. by developing micro-services in Kubernetes and leading the creation of a customer-facing tool using NodeJS and VueJS. Walter's earlier experience as a Web Developer at be Waste Wise involved designing a platform for user-generated content and webinars. Walter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from Stony Brook University.
