Bridie Costello Hynes

Public Participation Network Development Officer/age Friendly Coordinator at Offaly County Council

Bridie Costello Hynes currently serves as the Public Participation Network Development Officer and Age Friendly Coordinator at Offaly County Council since February 2017, having also previously held the role of Resource Worker within the same organization. Prior experience includes managing operations as the Manager/Centre Coordinator at Bridgeways Family Resource Centre and working as a Community Development Worker at Clara Community Family Resource Centre, where community engagement and support for individuals were key focuses. Bridie's background also features a role as a Programme Refugee Resettlement Worker at Offaly County Council, facilitating the integration of Afghan refugees. Earlier work involved coordinating the Kurdish Project Programme at Westmeath Community Development. Bridie holds multiple degrees from NUI Maynooth, including a Master’s in Community Education, Equality & Social Activism, and a BSc in Rural Development.
