Andrew Button

Principal, Data Innovation at Ofcom

Andrew Button has a diverse work experience in data analysis and project management. Andrew started their career as an Information Analyst at the Further Education Funding Council in 1996. Andrew then worked as a Partner and later as a Sole Trader at Map Analysis from 1997 to 2001. Andrew joined the Learning and Skills Council as an Operational Statistician from 1999 to 2000. In 2001, they became the Operational Statistician at the Learning and Skills Council. From 2003 to 2012, Andrew worked as a Director at Map Analysis Limited. Andrew joined Ofcom in 2010, where they held various roles, including Process and Data Architect, Data Analysis Manager, and currently, they serve as the Principal of Data Innovation.

Andrew Button completed a B.Sc. degree in Geography at the University of Reading from 1992 to 1995, achieving a 2:1 class. Andrew then pursued an M.Sc. in Geographical Information Systems at the University of Nottingham from 1995 to 1996.
