Saurabh Kumar has been working in the tech industry since 2011. Saurabh started their career at Infosys as a Senior System Engineer, where they worked on developing Java-based enterprise applications. In 2014, they moved to Samsung Electronics as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on voice-based personal assistant mobile applications. In 2015, they joined Nokia Networks as an R&D Engineer, where they developed Big Data Analytics platforms to handle terabytes of telecom data. From 2018-2020, they were a Data Engineer at The ADEX, where they worked on data pipelines, building real-time systems and reporting. Currently, they are a Senior Data Engineer at Oetker Digital GmbH.

Saurabh Kumar obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) in Berhampur between 2007 and 2011. Saurabh also obtained a Sun Certified Programmer for Java (SCJP) certification from SUN/Oracle in 2010, an Oracle9i Database Administrator Certified Associate certification from ORACLE in 2009, and a R Programming certification from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2015. In 2021, they obtained four Coursera Course Certificates, including Building Resilient Streaming Analytics Systems on GCP, Smart Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI on GCP, Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals, and Modernizing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses with GCP.
