Lauren Hernandez serves as the President of the ASU branch of Odyssey since November 2017, overseeing recruitment, social media management, and executive editing while collaborating with headquarters to enhance engagement. Hernandez has also gained experience as an Editorial and Social Media Intern at The Odyssey Online, and as a Reporter covering diverse topics. Additional roles include journalist and photographer for multiple BottleRock Napa Valley festivals, Associate Editor at Poosh where editing and SEO were key responsibilities, and Digital Reporter for Arizona PBS focusing on health and social issues. An early career included founding and managing a successful social media account for San Francisco Giants and positions at The State Press as Digital Editor. Hernandez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
