Nathan Lutz has had a varied career in the gaming industry. In 2004, they worked in the Electronics Department at Walmart, offering advice and knowledge about various electronic devices, including gaming systems. In 2008, they became the Lead Game Designer for Simutronics Corp., where they were responsible for envisioning and implementing content, including story, characters, and game play objectives. From 2012 to 2013, they were self-employed as an Independent Game Designer. From 2013 to 2016, they were the Lead Game Designer at Glu Mobile, where they worked closely with the CEO to conceptualize and implement the vision for all of their games and projects. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Game Design Manager at Glu Mobile, where they were responsible for overseeing a team of five other designers across two projects, while also acting as Lead Designer for an upcoming title in their Car Town franchise. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Senior Game Designer at Activision, where they acted as an in-house expert of Mobile and F2P Game Design, providing guidance and feedback to their external development partners. Since 2021, they have been the Principal Game Designer at Odyssey Interactive.
Nathan Lutz completed an Associate's degree in Computer Games and Programming Skills from Sanford Brown College between 2006 and 2008.
