Jordan Ewing has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of character and environment art. Jordan started their career as an Environment Art Intern at Flying Lab Software, where they worked on the project Pirates of the Burning Sea. After this, they interned at Blizzard Entertainment as a 3D Environment Artist, where they contributed to the development of their next-gen MMO.
Jordan then joined Carbine Studios as an Associate Character Artist, where they collaborated with the Character and Tech Art teams on the finalization and implementation of armor sets in the MMORPG Wildstar. Jordan then moved on to S2 Games, where they worked as a Character Artist on Strife, a MOBA game. Their responsibilities included creating and implementing character and creature content.
In 2014, Jordan joined Valkyrie Entertainment, LLC as a Character Artist, contributing to the creation and implementation of character and creature content for various AAA projects and clients. Jordan generated concepts, illustrations, and 3D assets.
In 2017, Jordan joined Riot Games as an Associate Character Artist, later becoming a Character Artist and eventually a Senior Character Artist. Jordan worked on various character art projects, contributing to the development of immersive and visually appealing game characters.
Most recently, in 2021, Jordan joined The Mentor Coalition as a Stylized Art Mentor, leveraging their expertise to guide aspiring artists in the industry.
Currently, Jordan is employed as a Senior Character Artist at Odyssey Interactive, where they continue to contribute their skills and expertise to enhance the visual quality of their games.
Jordan Ewing obtained a BFA in Game Art & Design from The Art Institutes, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. They then pursued further education and completed a Master of Interactive Technology degree in Art Creation from Southern Methodist University, where they attended from 2011 to 2012.
