Sarah Shepard is an experienced animal care professional with a background in marine sciences. Currently serving as an Animal Care Associate at OdySea Aquarium since July 2022, Sarah has previously held positions such as Assistant Trainer at Miami Seaquarium and Seasonal Trainer at Brookfield Zoo. Internships at Mystic Aquarium, South Carolina Aquarium, and Dolphins Plus Marine Mammal Responder have provided Sarah with skills in animal husbandry, training, and enrichment techniques. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marine Sciences from the University of South Carolina and has also volunteered in various roles related to animal care and research.
